Yesterday I ran for the first time - in a harness. Yeah, if you call that running. Wow, I think maybe putting on that harness and attempting to run in it - with pain yet still in my knee - was perhaps the most discouraging experience of my knee injury to date. I felt so helpless. I went to the doctor yesterday and she said that I should be able to run in a couple weeks! I want so badly to push this knee to recover as quickly as possible, but at the same time, the absolute worst thing that could possibly happen would be that I push too hard, too fast, and re-tear it.
