I like my new job at B&N - enjoy the cafe, the people I work with, and even some of the customers. Still managing to maintain a social life around work and making a point of cooking something nice at least once a week (night job makes that more difficult than it sounds). Cannot handle lack of money.... Budget shows that even if I get the full-time job I'm lusting after I will be just barely able to cover my bills and will have no money leftover for gas or food. Something's gotta give.

*sigh*

I've been experimenting with ethnic foods lately (i.e. not Italian). Last Sunday I put together some tasty Japanese-style noodle bowls with shittake mushrooms, rice noodles, and an interesting chinese (?) lettuce/spinach/kale thing. Tonight: Mexicano! Game this weekend was amazing. My character changes took hold and were easy to maintain. I like the personality tweaks. They move Ayela a little further from the ice stereotype but she's much more enjoyable to play this way. I made some good progress on the plot I'm working on, I think.
