The service provider has been switched, but somehow the reconnect order has not made its way to Centerpoint according to the people I spoke with this morning. Of course my provider isn't open today, but I did send an e-mail to them again.

The second interview wasn't really an interview,but rather a job offer which I accepted. So all I have to do now is wait for the principal to finish checking references and present the decision to the Board for approval then I can go sign all the paperwork and submit the required documents. Today has been a very interesting day to say the least. I was off on Thursday, so as usual work was waiting for me when I got in this morning. Then right before lunch hubby calls me to tell me that the power got cut off. We switched electric companies and the old company shut our power off. I had another interview today that I believe was the best ever. I had gotten some advice from a few friends on what I should change in regards of how I answer questions. I didn't get the last job I interviewed for, but I don't think it was right for me anyway. However, I did have a message this evening when I got home from another school district who wanted to talk to me about their open position. In otherwords, I am now offically employed at my school. I have to apply for a paraprofesional liscence and get fingerprinting done next week. The good part is that I don't have to get fingerprinting done when I finally get to apply for my probationary Certification after I secure an Internship ( Read more... )

So.....it's been a bit since I updated. Life's been moving along at quite a fast pace. I ended up not getting the long term sub job, but have been subbing in that classroom as an aide for the last two weeks.
