Fic - The Boy Next Door Series 19/? [Merlin]
Changed a few of my userpics. I was tired of seeing the same Bradley pic in every fic post. Bad LJ. I want more userpics! 15 isn't enough!
Title: 19. Cell Phone (The Boy Next Door Series)

Summary: Arthur learns a few things about Merlin through her phone;

19. Cell Phone
It’s common knowledge that you can learn a lot about a person by looking into their cell phone. So of course Arthur was going to investigate Merlin’s. It was an opportunity too good to pass.
First thing he notices is that she uses as background a picture of one of the guys from Supernatural (admittedly, he did watch a few episodes with Morgana and thought it was fun, but he couldn’t tell who was who just yet.), but from what he heard in conversations between the two girls, Merlin was a Dean!Girl, so this must be Dean.
He browses the contact list. There aren’t many. Just a few friends; her mother; Gaius; he recognizes his home number under the name Princes, his father personal mobile and Morgana’s; there is the local hospital number where her mother works and all Merlin’s work numbers too.
He passes down to her track list and roll his eyes. So predictable. Lots of AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, some Metallica and Queen, even a couple Rob Zombie’s songs; but as he goes lower, Arthur starts to smirk. Paramore he gets it; but Panic! At the Disco and Mcfly? Totally shocking really!
Arthur files that information for later and opens the gallery. There are a couple more pictures from the actor from Supernatural and other TV shows followed by pictures of Merlin with a dark-skinned girl making faces; a couple of pictures of Merlin and Gaius and Merlin and her mom; a few pictures with Morgana; The couple last images it was Merlin and a guy he didn’t recognize hugging.
Arthur frowned at the two pictures. Boyfriend maybe? But Merlin had never mentioned anything. He’d ask Morgana later. The girl had glued herself to Merlin lately and Arthur couldn’t be more thankful. As long as Morgana was bothering Merlin, she wasn’t bothering him.
Suddenly, an idea strikes Arthur and, with a huge mischievous grin, he uses Merlin’s phone to snap a picture of himself and sets it as background image
He saves his number on the mobile too, choosing a specific ring tone before finally setting the device aside just as Morgana and Merlin are making their way towards him.
