Title: 20. Movie Night (The Boy Next Door Series)

Summary: Morgana and Merlin had proclaimed Wednesdays as movie nights;

20. Movie Night
Morgana and Merlin had proclaimed Wednesdays as movie nights and after a couple of weeks, Arthur joined the two girls as well.
He drives the three of them to the video store so they can choose the movie of the night after they spend the day in the club.
Arthur browses the shelves quickly before picking up Casablanca (Nothing after the nineties is allowed tonight.) and shows Merlin. The girl makes a face.
“It’s settled then! You’re the girl between the three of us.”
Arthur rolls his eyes and starts to move towards the row where he had last seen Morgana. She meets him half-way and thrusts Godfather in his face. Merlin and Arthur exchange looks.
“Er, Morg. I know it’s a great movie and all, but, after three times in a week, even I had enough.”
Morgana pouts slightly but nods.
“What do you got?” She asks, noticing two cases of DVDs in Merlin’s hand.
Merlin grins and lifts Die Hard for them to see.
“No.” Arthur vetoes it. “If I’d want to see terrorists blowing things up I’d turn on the news.”
“They’re not terrorists; they’re bank robbers!”
Merlin’s tone is almost scandalized, but Arthur doesn’t relent.
“Fine.” She sighs pouting slightly and lifts the second DVD. It’s a copy of The Shining.
“No thank you. Got my quota of Jack Nicholson filled last week after Mars Attacks! ” Arthur complains grimacing at the memory of the movie.
“I thought it would be good.” Morgana shrugs. I had been her pick.
“But it’s The Shining!” And Merlin is whining.
“My pick tonight, remember?”
Arthur smirks and goes back to browse as Morgana and Merlin trails after him pouting. At least he was in the horror/thriller section.
After a few minutes scanning the shelves, Arthur takes a copy of The Exorcist.
“I’ve never seen that one.” Morgana says beaming at the cover.
“It’s a classic.” He replies with a smirk. “All in favor?”
The blonde asks glancing at Merlin. Morgana turns to look at the girl too. Merlin is slightly pale and bites her lower lip unsure, but finally nods.
“Okay then. Let’s go.”
Arthur says and moves towards the counter with Morgana at his side and Merlin trailing behind them. She absolutely hates that movie.
