I unknowingly scheduled my trip to Denver to visit my dad during the same week as the Democratic National Convention... which is in Denver this year. In one way, it's cool that I'll be there. I just received an e-mail message from Kris. Apparently, he's back together with Jen and everything is going well. He's studying to be a mortuary tech and Jen is studying to be an EMT.
