Has Anyone Noticed?

Has anyone noticed gas prices lately?

Within the last two months, it reached a high of $2.99 here in Oklahoma (much higher in other places, of course).

But suddenly, slowly, the prices are creeping down, despite the continued "war on terror", despite the situation with the BP pipeline in Alaska, despite Exxon, Mobil, Conoco Philips, etc recording

I know I'm not fooled in the slightest, but I'm enjoying the lower, still very expensive prices while they last. Today was the first time in about a month that I was able to fill up for under $30.

The sad part is that there are many people who WILL be fooled by this. People don't usually tend to remember much past what is happening in the Here and Now...and then the rest of us have to suffer the consequences of their faulty memories.

Yeah. Sometimes I really resent the stupidity of others.

I don't think it's enough to just say that anymore.
I think there are enough of us who WANT to do something about it, in terms of changing the status quo.

So that begs the question: "What can we do? How do we change this sorry state of affairs?"

The Russian peasants finally revolted.
