So, the Art Institute now says I owe them $440. Much better than the $890 it got up to. Unfortunately, classes start on the 6th, and their system still says I'm not enrolled in anything. I was told I'd be starting on the 6th. Did they not get my transcript, again? It also looks like I need to fill in all that shit for FAFSA and student loans ( Read more... ) -
VMWare and xVM
Today, I fired up VMWare, and it decided my license key is no longer valid. Yes, this is a key for VMWare 1, and I had VMWare 2. Yes, VMWare said the key for 1 should work with 2, but apparently that isn't the case anymore. $90 software lost, gone, poof, just like that. I'm none too happy about that ( Read more... ) -

Okay, I didn't get kicked from the Art Institute for the reason their email system said I got kicked. No, I got kicked because my old school district wouldn't send them the damn transcript. I've noticed quite a few new avatar sites popping up recently. To me, they're all exactly the same. There's a "normal" currency, a "special" currency, and a "donation" currency.
