fun stuff. we both haven't seen corpse bride but i saw serenity on friday. i hope my head doesnt explode.

hee. it's a sci-fi movie (with a wonderful western feel, belive it or not) based off of the TV series 'firefly', which ran for only one season before it was cancelled. it had a HUGE fan base that only grew with time (because that's just how these things work) so finally the creator, who also was the creator of buffy and angel, decided he just had to do a movie.

it's a good movie without seeing the series though, my mom didn't and really liked it. i think it's better with all the background on the characters, though, because there's so much they couldnt touch upon in the movie that confused some that hadn't seen 'firefly'.

I need a nice film to take my scary-movie-going-buddy to erase the horrific after effects of watching Wolf Creek.

it's fab. it's a sci-fi movie with a western feel, although there is a TON of action and some death but it's not really horror-ish.

it's better if you've seen 'firely', though, so if you can rent that over there get it (it's only one season, it was cancelled after that) and *then* see the movie. it's good for people who havent watched the tv series but a bunch of the history is definately lacking (and the movie is already 2 hours long).

yeah i love it.

i wanted to watch the series again right before i left twon but i didnt get a chance- but yeah ive seen it. and i love it.
