Warning: Slight Tegami Bachi spoilers.
Dream Effect: [Optional] Happiness, the kind you feel when you're around something or someone you cherish, yet there's a longing of that someone or something being far away. And then, a sense of slight fear, like when you're about to take medicine that you know tastes horrid.

[As the sense of warmth and faint longing given from the dream subsides, Akihiko can't help but find himself smiling as Lag exclaims about the sun.]

It's called the sun. Don't look straight at it, you'll hurt your eyes.

[The sudden voice surprises Lag, and suddenly, he's back in view of the recording. He's blinking quite hard, and that's from seeing spots. It takes him a moment to recognize the person on the small screen.]

O-Oh! Um. I-I'm so sorry! I didn't know the Dreamberry started recording! I thought I turned it off before I went to sleep...I guess I need to practice using it a bit more... Um, but, is that sun man made? It's very powerful!

Heh, don't worry. The Dreamberry is a device that tends to turn on unexpectedly, especially when you're asleep. You'll get used to it soon enough.

In terms of the sun though, no. It's a not man-made; it's a powerful star out in space. It gives off energy to make plants grow and also lets us see during the daytime.

Does the sun really do those things? ...No wonder Yodaka doesn't have much...but if it's a star, how come it's so big?

It's just the sun, Lag. It comes out every morning.

[Oh crap, did everyone hear him!]

I'm sorry if the recording bothered you, Cloud...The sun moves?

Don't be. The Dreamberry tends to turn on and off whenever it wants.

The sun doesn't move. The planet rotates, once per day. When it's night time, the sun is on the other side of the planet, and when it's day time, it's day on the other side.

You should be more grateful for rations provided on the field.

[...Yeah, he won't comment on the sun thing.]

The canteen in your dream, your food provisions for the night. You should be grateful to have something like that, even if you find the taste less than palatable.

Y-You're right, Mister! Sylvette worked hard to make that soup. I'm very sorry!

Lag...? That's the sun! Don't stare at it too long or else you could damage your eyes.

That's a sign that you've been looking at it too long!

... have you not seen the sun before, Lag?

[a light smile]

There wasn't a sun in your world, Lag-kun?

Nothing like this! The government made something similar, but I don't think it's this bright! The man-made light is brightest in the capital...and I've never been there...
