Oh my god. I need the next part now. Right now. This was fantastically written, wonderfully paced and I am forever jealous of you people who seem to know that technique where you have two different storylines--one moving and one introspective--and you somehow manage to seamlessly merge them together. Really. I wish I could do that. Also, this:

Spencer Reid was an idiot of a genius who walked in front of armed madmen with his gun holstered and his hands raised, relying only in his voice and brain - because, deep down, he still wanted to believe that reasoning and talking should always be enough.

FTW. I love this line. It's so perfectly true.

Also, I'm glad you like that sentence - it's one of my personal favourites too. So much truth! And it's one of Reid's views that I really can't help but agree with.
