Yeah, I decided almost right away that I didn't want to make an AU piece, so I had to find a way to slot it into series four and therefore giving it a sad overtone. Still, I am quite proud of it overall.

Thanks so much for your kind words and review. It means a lot as I love your epic and complex story to hear you praise mine so highly. :)

Great in character writing! Sad day that there is no sequel. :(

As my first foray into Who fandom writing I really worried about that so your comment makes me very happy. :)

I wouldn't mind considering a sequel, but I'm not sure what I'd do with it besides changing around the end of the series as Donna now knows more about Rose and also who Jack is. If I can come up with something new then maybe...

I love the way this fits into canon. Donna is so awesome -- and Rose came so close!

Thanks, it was my intention to make it canon compliant from the start but it ended up working out even better than I'd planned for in the end I think.

Poor dimension hopping Rose. I really do see here journey as being filled with near misses that only we (as omnipotent 3rd party viewers) are aware of.

Thanks once more for all the lovely comments and support! :D

I know. I tried to spare the poor man as much pain as I could with this ending, and I'd like to think it helps build upon just how deep that bond is between Donna and the Doctor. Therefore also how much it hurt when he had to lose her on top of everything else. Ugh, Journey's End. You give me too many feelings all at the same time!

Credit must go to all the lovely people who commented last chapter for the inspiration of that scene really. I'd planned to leave her identity a mystery but too many people were excited by her and, really, I do love the way it ended up.

Thank you for all the kind words and support Who! :) Hope everything is going well with your Nanowrimo progress.

This was fantastic! I really enjoyed it! In this chapter, I especially liked your explanation for the future use of our appendixes. Brilliant! :D

Hehe, yeah, my sister is in the medical field and she didn't like my hand-waving excuse for why Donna wasn't affected by the berries so I was forced to think and figured 'Well, we don't really know what they were for anyway so...why not!' XD

SO glad you enjoyed it and thanks so very much for all of your kind words and support!
