::HUGS:: I recommend hot showers. Then stretches. Then hot showers.

Did the stretching there... did a thirty minute hot shower here. Mmm... muscles feel much better. But my shoulders are still killing me.

That pain you feel is WEAKNESS leaving your body! Love that pain! Aw, it reminds you you're alive!

Do NOT ask for an easier work-out. Keep going, keep pushing yourself, and sooner than you realize, you will find yourself able to do the whole thing. If you opt for the kiddy pool now you will handicap your advancement and never know how far you could have gone.

.... oo... touched a reasie button! :)

I'm proud of you. That pain you feel is the physical manifestation of your potential!

The only reason I was going to ask for the 'kiddy pool' path was so that I was doing SOMETHING rather than stand around. I kept trying to do the ones I couldn't do, but I ended up making an ass of myself. I guess I just wanted something to help me build up so I'd be able to eventually do the full blown ones ( ... )

Everyone in that room looked like a moron the first time they tried to do these moves. Remember when Dev first walked? He wasn't exactly ballet material, was he? But you encouraged him, rewarded his APPROXIMATIONS and that's the way we all learn to walk and talk. For some reason, we stop allowing ourselves and others approximations when we grow up - which is stupid. We still need to crawl before we can walk, and walk before we can run.

Don't feel bad that you can't do it perfectly right away! Feel proud that unlike millions of others, you are willing to go out there and face the challenge... so many refuse to do things they don't know how to, and that locks them into a prison of mediocrity- never advancing beyond where they already are.

yeah. word.

sorry... these motivational speaches come easily to mind because they're the ones I give MYSELF. :)

Hey, keep them up!! I haven't reached the sobbing, 'I CAN'T DO IT ANYMORE' stage. So getting this BEFORE I hit that stage is a good thing ;) THank you.

Congrats Bug, no pain no gain. I'll be doing this soon myself. Heading over to the Merrit Athletic club to see about a membership.

Gonna be a buff Irish Dragon... or at least a non-pudgy one. =)

That's pretty much what I'm going for. The non-pudgy part, that is. And, though I have Irish in me, probably couldn't be considered an 'Irish Dragon'...

Can I sing 'Buff the Irish Dragon, lives by the sea....'

... Please don't hit me. :)

lol....

The Irish Dragon thing was referring to my alias...

eiredrake == Irish Dragon

<*HUG*> We loves da bug.

By the way I like the picture you've been posting. You're a cutie.

*beams* Thank you. And I'm still going to be singing 'Buff the Irish Dragon' all day. I'm such a dork. Hopefully soon I'll be a thinner bug. Wanna lose... 60 pounds? Something like that. Then I'll be happy. I'll never be thin; it's simply not going to happen. But I can be thiner. So... Yeah.

And I'll be posting more pics this weekend, I think. Renfaire and all that. See how purdiful I can look all done up in garb! Or just all done up in general and not just in work clothes :) I almost took a pic of me just after my class last night? Then it occurred to me "Why the hell do I want to post a red-faced picture of me that will no doubt look like crap??" So... yeah. not that silly ;)
