Honey, if you can tolerate exercising with a group of 120 pound girls, you are a braver soul than I!
(I'd much rather go toe-to-toe with 300 lb gorillas weilding ax handles than have to see myself in an exercise mirror next to some size-4 cheerleader!)
I'm proud of you. Look, and feel, how much you've already accomplished!
Keep it up, and I promise, before too long you'll be looking at those skinny little girls and thinking "I could snap her in half without even breaking a sweat"
*beams!* Thank you again!! Yeah, it's damn hard. It's also why I scoot my tushie to the side where I don't have to see myself in the mirror while doing said exercises; always makes me feel... ugh. Yeah. Hippo.
But yeah. Going to keep it up. I'm fat, I know it. I'm also working on it, so if they have anything to say about that... well, hell. I could still break them in half without breaking a sweat ;) They're all beginners, too, damnit! And I bet I'm meaner than the lot of them put together.
But, yeah. Keeping with it, despite all the pain (oooh, the pain!) and we'll see. Going to do it month by month. I bet I'll feel better as I go. Hope so, at least.
Oh yes. Took my tylenol as soon as I took my morning vitamins (ie: the moment I got my ass outta bed). So yeah. Doing that. And going to be taking a walk for my lunch to help loosen the muscles a bit, too. Hopefully that'll help. Still sore, though. Would hate to see what it was like WITHOUT said pain killers. *shudders*
Ibuprofin is better for muscle aches... don't know why, but my fighting buddies swear by it... they call it 'Vitamin I' - apparently it also helps to take one BEFORE you work out.
Check. I have a huge thing of Tylenol, that's why I've taken it. Had the same bottle of 500 for about... four? five years? But I'll grab some good ol' "Vitamin I".
Also check about taking it BEFORE the workout. I didn't think about that.
So if I'm crawling in on Friday, everyone will know why. Second day of class. *shudders*
