I made croissants today and one pain au chocolat. There's still a dozen croissants waiting to be baked. I would have made them right after the croissants finished baking, but the bottom element of the oven burned out while the croissants were cooking. Gah, There's a day and a half until Becky and I are leaving for Ottawa. Which means we need to be packed by tonight, or tomorrow morning at latest since we're leaving directly from school/work. So, as the parents and Becky know I hurt my foot on Saturday. We all thought I'd probably cut it on something metal, like a nail sticking up in the newly finished floor or the swivel chair's base. Leading to the insane goose-chase to get me a tenus shot. Turns out we were wrong. I didn't need the shot. I had a glass sliver in my foot, no metal. ( Read more... )
