Independent, stubborn, true to your vision, deep feelings, hard working, ethical, helpful, that all sounds like you. I can't see you as an alternative medicine guru though!

And I know that corporations are legally people but they really, really shouldn't be and you know it. No flesh-and-blood person could summon nearly the man-hours or other resources that a corporation can, and it means we poor flesh-and-blood types simply can't compete with corporations on an even footing. But I am very fond of the company I work for, corporation or not. (Is it technically a corporation if it isn't publicly traded?)

Most corporations aren't publicly traded. Being incorporated is just a legal state. Basically, it just gives an organization certain rights and responsibilities. Mostly rights. Incorporating is usually just a way to separate a business/non-profit from it's owner, so that the owner isn't liable for the acts or debts of the organization. Imagine what an impact your company defaulting on its obligations would have on your boss if he was fiscally responsible for all its debts. A person could find themselves millions of dollars into debt. Individuals generally can't shoulder to burden a profitable business can ( ... )
