Lip Gloss!!!!

so I've heard the wonders of lip gloss. I have girlfriends that just have tubes and tubes of the stuff. And it's 'winter' here and my lips are a little chapped. And I thought, for the new year I'd try to be more, well, polished and put together. Maybe actually smear some lip gloss on my lips. I bought two tubes from Victoria Secret. I was in Arizona last year where the humidity was -10! I bought some sort of lip balm and unbeknownest to me, it had a little "glisten" to it. I'm gay, but not THAT gay!

Curse of living in cold weather climate. I got use to the "slimy" factor once the girls complain about kissing chapped lips.

my lips still feel 'icky'...like congealed fat or something...9 hrs later. I think I need to ditch this brand and go back to burt's bees shimmer stuff.

Lip gloss is just like lip stick...you have to find the right one. There are a lot of lip glosses that feel like chap stick. There are others that feel slimy, others that are sticky. There's a right one out there for you...somewhere! :-)

I think I need a makeover and a personal shopper. I think that Gunn dude would have a field day with me. I'd be horrified. He'd probably make me throw out all of my PJ shirts.

Tim Gunn probably wouldn't make you throw away your Pearl Jam shirts...he'd probably just want you to box them up ;-)

I'm a bit weary of lip gloss and lip balm. If you use too much your lips stop producing their natural moisture. I use a lip balm called Lucas Paw Paw ointment only when my lips dry out, and i'll where a little lip gloss when i go out.
