I hope that everyone has a safe Memorial Day weekend. Take a minute to remember and thank all the men and women who have served our country.  For all those wounded... pray for healing of body and mind... and for the loved ones of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice... a special prayer for you.

My dad used to have a special whistle for us five kids. I hated it. It was loud, and kind of obnoxious. (I could never whistle like he did.) Since it was going to cost us over $300.00 to change our plane reservations to leave a day early, we decided to rent a car and drive to Tuscon to go to the La Fiesta de los Vacqueros rodeo.
