I found this funny & ironic on many levels
and pissed off on yet another level (I dabble in bicycling advocacy on a state and local level). Some might think I'm a bit of a radical. But anyway, these two ad campaigns showed an amazing lack of awareness.

got tix today to West Palm Beach & Tampa shows. Looks like sales are slow though. I really want to go to the NYC shows. *sigh* I'm never satisfied. -
Got some Culture Yesterday
Mother in law and I went to the ballet (we have season tix). It was Orlando Ballet's Movin' Up: 3 By Tharp, basically three of Twyla Tharp's ballets. The first piece was Waterbaby Bagatelles which was really cool. It was sposed to mimic schools of fish. They even had a series of flourescent tubes hanging from the gearing to mimic aquariums. oh, so glad you asked!
lessee, last weekend we went camping and I threw caution to the wind and drank lots of beer, had a few bahama mamas, ate campout food! yay! Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. I go to weigh in today, I'm up about a pound and a half.

well, my boy Taz is not feeling so well. He's been stressed and the other cats have been picking on him. He's been pooping in the house all week too! which is so not like him. the kids also noticed that he had blood in his stool. Soooooooooo, I took him to the vet Friday and they dx'd him as having 'stress colitis'. *sigh ( Read more... )
