What Do You Have To Say? - My Favorite Winter Activity
As a general rule, I hate winter. Snow and ice make it hard to get to work, and my office DOES NOT CLOSE. Not onyl that, but my birthday's in winter, and snow and ice sometimes have required me to cancel parties or I wind up shoveling the crap as a lovely birthday present. Kaz thinks he's going to compete on Christmas lights with the guy next door. Our neighbor spent 8 hours just putting lights on every branch of his little tree in the front yard, and that didn't count the lights on the bushes, around the door and window, and icicle lights hanging from the roof. My cat, Penelope, apparently has parasites. I'm going to have to give medicine to all three goddamn cats now because they've been sharing litterboxes and absorbing each other's intestinal worms. Poetic Justice
I had a terrible moving experience--the movers were very rude and said horrible things about me to my boyfriend, ultimately making me cry. They were broken down in the snow yesterday. -
Snow Sucks!
Remember when snow used to be cool because school would be closed and you could stay home and do whatever you want? Well, now that I'm an adult it's about dealing with stupid drivers who freak out when they seek a flake and digging out my car and worrying if I'm going to get home from work before midnight. No sir, I didn't like it.
