Funny enough, I have turned out to be quite the traditionalist. Funny how we celebrate the one day white men actually got along with the Native Americans and tend to forget the hundreds of years we spent tormenting them. Its the American way!

We celebrate everything that white men do. Everything. Except for James K. Polk. We try and ignore that he was born.

And Michael Jackson. We're not sure he counts for us or not.

I do send a lot of love to Shannon. Hospitals are no fun at all, bad food, bad doctors, bad nurses who can't put in IV's... oh I'm sorry... that's just what my hospital memories are.

Mexican twist?... to Thanksgiving?... how does that happen?... I wonder.

i too have been asked by all of my family members and even my hairdresser if i have a boyfriend...when i said no they all give me a look of pity like im the one in the hospital....

and today at lunch we will all be thanking of shannon and i will force my family to pray for her...
