i knitted a pair of newborn longies a while back but made them with 100% superwash wool w/o thinking, so they won't really soak up any moisture, thus defeating the purpose of longies. they're perfectly good pants, though, and since a lot of you have had babies recently or will be soon, i thought i'd offer them up for sale before i unravel them and

hey, what exactly IS the purpose of longies?

they soak up any extra moisture from a cloth diaper (if they're made from wool), and the bum is made big enough to fit over cloth dipes, which are kinda huge!

that, and they're pretty effin cute.
