yesterday i temped at a capital group in midtown. i'm not sure what a capital group is, but it has LLC after its name and it seemed to be full of investors and lawyers. i spent 9 hours answering phones for slick investor types while they leaned back in their chairs with their headsets on and squishing their stress balls while saying things like " ( Read more... )

my apartment building is on fire. i'm not sure what to do.

new yorkers are jerks with their umbrellas. they don't realize, or don't care, that they are all the sudden 7 times wider than normal and holding 12 little daggers at my eye level.

also, don't act like its weird that i'm trying to share your umbrella when we're stopped at a street corner. it is POURING out.
