Tool photos

All I can say is THANK GOD for shooting in raw format. It gives you so much lattitude to work with when adjusting a photo.  I was able to bring all of my Tool photos back from the brink of darkness. You lose a lot of information in the picture when you have to correct the exposure so drastically. So they don't look that great, but it's TOOL so I ( Read more... )

Basically I was able to save my photos because I was using my cameras raw file format. When you shoot in raw format you can make adjustments to the file, in photoshop, that you can't if you shoot in normal jpeg format.

The only drawback is that when you make such large corrections to the files in photoshop they don't look half as good as they would if they were taken at the correct exposure to begin with. But in this case I am just happy to save them.
