embarrassing truth: I actually really liked a will ferrell film

I was shocked and delighted at how much I enjoyed this. Really.
The review I've linked to unpacks it very well: it's a movie for people who wish that more films were as good as novels.It has a little philosophical undercurrent for people who are into that. But it's mostly just delightful.

I have work to do but YOU go see this film! NOW!

when i started seeing commercials for it a few weeks ago, i basically died. writer's meta-comedy + SPOON + buster from arrested development = SPLOOGE
i might have to wait to see it until next weekend if co-intern mark comes to visit. if not, me and some liquified butter have a quality date with that movie sometime very soon.

yeah the whole soundtrack is by Britt Daniel - mahvelous.
ps your Fraser is here and we are already enjoying him. He's playing with his casios on the couch as we speak.
