Ok so an update on my relationship situation. Let me start off by saying it is soooooo much better. On saturday i anxiously awaited his return and we texted on his way back, and he said he had gotten my text that i think i sent Thursday saying that i wanted to talk to see where he stood on a few things. You need to end this. You're too "in the situation" to realize how bad it really is, but you have to end it because you're just going to get hurt. Open relationships are nothing but extended break-ups.

You need to get out and find someone who doesn't want to go off and fuck someone else because that is EXACTLY what he will be doing. Love isn't enough when he's doing other girls. It just isn't.

I completely agree with that last comment. Lani, you deserve someone who is willing to make you and only you happy and I hate to say it but I don't think Sean is willing to do that. I have witnessed sooooo many open relationships and not one of them has worked out positively. Someone ALWAYS gets hurt and it is usually the person who doesn't want it to be an open relationship in the first place.

I really do appreciate your concern but i have talked with Sean again and he really felt like crap about trying to break up with me of me. And honestly i was well aware of the fact that i should have probably broken up with him over that fact, but i am so in love with him its unsettling at times, and i have made the conscious decision that i'd rather deal with that pain later if it doesn't work out instead of ending it now and not knowing if it could have worked. Sort of a "better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all" sorta deal i think. I'll keep you all up to date about what happens. Thanks for your comments!

well i would suggest to be cautious. give him his chance but be cautious. don't be afraid to tell him no to diffrent things. if he does love you he will listen to. i think things will turn out for the best :)
