It has been years since I had a tough Mothers Day. I have always said that while it sucks that my mom has been out of commission for most of my life, I have been blessed with a lot of other moms. I have been lucky, and I have sent a lot of cards and flowers.

I've been on a self-imposed radio silence for awhile... No LJ, no Twitter, and I haven't posted FB updates in years now.
