Happy New Year?

It seems that this is traditionally the time when I look back on the past year and look forward to the new one. I know I'm always bitching, but man was this year a mess... It seems like another year where I took two steps forward and two big steps back

I so hear you about derby. So much. You put into words a lot of the things I try to say but never quite do. I miss it so much and then I remember what it was really like, the parts other than playing, and I don't miss it. There were good things, but I feel a lot better about myself now that I'm not judging myself against... Well, all that shit.

I hope the rest of it gets better.

Yeah, I keep beating myself up about going back, but I know that right now I can't keep up. If I can get back to the point where I can, then I have to decide whether I even want to.

I wish there were a not-nationally ranked team closer to me, I'd like to think they might actually play the sport for fun.
