Hawk Island Snow Park

Last night we attended the Ingham County Parks Commission meeting where they discussed the future of the snowboard park. The resolutions all passed and assuming fundraising and whatnot, this thing is a go.

Thanks for the info on this! I am excited about it in theory! Will there be a beginners' area/hill just for trying to learn to snowboard without the terrain park? That would be the part I would use :) Bonus if there would be rentals... but I'm still supportive if it's going to be for experienced boarders. We need ways to keep folks engaged in the city.

There WILL be a beginner area for total noobs :)

There will also be intermediate and advanced areas. I know they're looking for donations of equitment so hopefully that pans out and they can do rentals.
