This month has been driving back from Arizona, a weekend in the Catskills, a weekend in Montauk. A couple live shows, a couple summer blockbusters. Dancing in Billyburg, dancing at home to my ipod. (In socks.) Harry Potter. A new story. A new tea shop ( Read more... )

Oh ho. Okay, here be dragons, but the yogurt is Fage Total Yogurt, and I really wish I didn't like it so much, because it isn't organic and it's far from being local and it's ridiculously expensive. Mostly I get it because I can't really tolerate sweet things that aren't desserts, and I can always pick up on artificial sweeteners, and apparently I'm just super picky. But, um, yeah. Yogurt! Yay.

I'm okay with needles and blood and all sorts of medical nonsense, so giving blood was never a problem for me. It does take a while, so if you freak out about needles it's a little rough. You can't just look away for a second and then have it be over. It's rewarding, though, if you can brace yourself for it. Plus, they give you cookies. Always a good thing.
