I just watched the first episodes of Kings, and much as I liked it, I'm getting kind of stuck on the idea of Reverend Samuels. I'm fine with having a blond-haired and blue-eyed David, but it'd be nice if they didn't use a specifically Christian term for the prophet Samuel. They could have called him Prophet! Anyone who lives in New York who hasn't voted yet, consider casting your vote for Obama through the Working Families party instead of the Democrats-they did a lot of community organizing trying to block Bloomberg from pushing the term limit vote through city council (not that they succeeded. 10:30 in the morning and the street fair is already blasting "My Heart Will Go On." Maybe I'll take an early train up to my parents'.
Now it's a soft rock/pan pipe version of "The Sounds of Silence." There isn't enough caffeine in the world to deal with this.
