I could survive for 1 minute, 19 seconds chained to a bunk bed with a velociraptor

So, I'm at school once more, having just finished getting all my stuff settled in. It's pretty cool, having a double-sized room all to yourself. Though it does seem a bit cavernous and echoey sometimes. My new roomies, Dan and Ryan, seem pretty cool so far, but we haven't hung around together all that much. So last night I went along with a group of friends (Tom, Alaina, Chet, Chainer, Chris and Brendan) to go see Transformers. It was the earliest showing we all could get to, and we were all very excited to see it. Surprisingly, even Alaina was into it. Apparently, she'd been a fan of it ever since she was young. Who knew?

So this little fellow was found lounging indolently in a half inch of standing water in the bucket we use to clean up household messes. He's just lucky it wasn't bleach or the like, or he'd be one dead bird. I'm still trying to figure out just what he is. Ahem, that's mostly it. It just started snowing, and no one seems to be around. So I get out my joy at this development to LJ.
School can't start quickly enough.

I'm 23 and slightly sleepy. All in all, a good start to this year.
