My favs are the ones where one of the people doesn't want to leap into sex and gets coaxed. 'Cause not every jumps into bed with the first available hot person, or even the person they've been crushing on for ages.

Well, I think there's really 3 categories of kinks for me: fanfic kinks, porn kinks, and RL kinks. Guy on guy (which isn't really a kink per se) is only hot to me in fanfics. Otherwise, I do think my fanfic kinks pretty much match up to my porn kinks. My porn/fanfic kinks differ from my RL kinks in that I think dub con is hot in porn or fanfics because I know it's not real. Would I want to have sex with someone and for there to be dubious consent? Oh god, no no no.

As for non-sexual kinks... Hm. Glasses? :3 idk if that is the sort of thing you meant, though.

What I mean by a non-sexual kink is something that will just pull you instantly into the idea of a fic. I'm not thinking of RL or porn kinks for this one. I mean like any story that warns for mute!character immediately goes on my to-read list.

maybe like a character always putting their left foot in the bath first, or sorting things by colour unconciously, or other little habits that you might share with main character? i definatly do that with books, not so much fanfics though (probably due to how few i actually read).

Ive always been very fond of 'suprise attacks' in fanfics and short stories: being sneaked up on in the kitchen, with a bit of coaxing. Said situation is best with girls, I think... I also have a fondness for doubleteaming, or people plotting together to 'take down' one object of affection or lust.
Also, suits. With ties. And office situations, and elevators, and verbal orders. I read a wonderful short awhile back with (frickin', of all characters) Gumshoe and Mia, and it was probably my favourite fanfic, and I dont even LIKE fanifics.
The difference between the two (fanfic-plot-kink v.s. real-life-kink) is that although I find all the ideas wonderful, I would never myself initiate such things out of shyness. For that matter, if I were to 'team up' with someone irl to seduce a common goal, it would probably end up in me being far to jeolous to share.
It is probably the process of the fetish, more-so than the outcome, that I find attractive.
