Whoops and yay?
God help me, I just signed up to write a fantasy bigbang and do art, and probably pinch hit art. What was I thinking? I also got a shiny new dw account to go with it.
On the plus side, as of today, I am no longer just a jcp minion. I have a job in sales, which I never would have pictured, but the tour day was a lot of fun, so I'm excited. -
I swear I have a non-sca life, it's juat boring as hell
So on top of the allure of shiny, *shiny* Byzantine, which I'm shallow enough to admit I love just for the clothes, I've been digging for names that I will actually reply to, and it's now a mental toss up between 15th century French and 14th century Catalan. So, I have my work schedule manipulated to where I get Wednesday nights free to go play with the local Barony. Tonight was Italian dance and paper dolls. First Baronial Meeting
Okay, I can honestly say that when I headed to the Barony meeting last night, I never in a million years expected to actually know people there. I just got my card in the mail, and that keychain is totally joining the leather turtle as my keychain thingy. I love it so very much and the card is *gorgeous*. I now have three Christmas cards and they're even not all from my family! *glomps* -

I am now in the Barony of the South Downs in the Kingdom of Meridies, and I shall have adventures, dammit. Okay, and hopefully make friends, too. I can dream, right? -
