I came across this fabulous painting whilst rummaging about for costume ideas, and I really love this dress, but my brain says no way is this actually 1630.  Anyone out there recognize it, or seen something from that era on similar lines?

This weekends banquet went really well overall.  There were some minor problems of course, but nothing remotely drastic.

All was civil betwixt me & the folks I sometimes have friction with - yay!
