Well, I have some news. My family is moving to the metroplex. My dad got assigned the church in Richland Hills. I have some friends there from staff who I will be closer to, and that will be nice. We've been in belton six years now, which is the longest I've ever been anywhere. I consider belton my hometown. I will miss it, and everyone there and/ ( Read more... )

Awww, thanks Elisa. I know my whole family is really going to miss First Belton. And yes, I will definitely still be at A&M! We should do that coffee getting/talking sometime :).

I was going to type 'aww' or I'm sorry but that doesn't seem effective or nearly enough. I know we haven't talked alot lately, but this makes me really sad... But you are only two hours and half hours away (two if you drive real fast), I'm sorry its all convoluted emotionally, but just remember it doesn't matter if your family moves to New Zealand (crosses fingers?) or Iowa, you are still always welcomed in Belton/Austin. And plus, now there's something fun to see in the Metroplex, and that would be you!

Thanks Joey :D. Yeah, i'm just.. really sad too. BUT i will be trying to make it back to the belton/austin area as much as i can. haha, yup I'll basically own the metroplex, i'll be the only place to be! :P

I know I havnt been going to Belton church lately, or talked to you much lately either, but I will truelly miss having you in the area. I dont know if this is true or not, but I heard somewhere, that the bigger the area the preacher gets moved to, the better he is? thats what I always thought at least. Im thinking of driving to A&M sometime for the weekend to see some people, so I'll let you know if/when Im in town

Yeah, it's just really crazy to me thinking about not coming home to belton. Not going to my church like i have the past 6 years. :(. You really should let me know if you're in town, its been toooo long :).

:( gaaah, i will miss seeing you sooooo. much. like you said we've already talked about this, but i really can't overstate just...how hard it will be not seeing you as often. it's beyond words wonderful knowing i have a place to stay with you though :). I think you said it best "no number of miles would ever emotionally separate us."
