Yeah, I already saw it when I was in Denmark and liked it and Scarlett Johannason. I'll see it again tonight because I've got nothing better to do. And also probably a third time when they show it on Tuesday, too.
Howdy! Say, nyuni tells me you're up there pestering ravens or somesuch. kenket and I may well be in the neighborhood sometime in July, and would find it interesting to see what you do. If you're not totally opposed to meeting up with random strangers, let us know and we'll put a pin in the map. :>
Hi! Hmm, I would love to have you guys and show you what we do...but there's this one little problem that all our work is within the evil fortress of the oil companies and they wouldn't let you in. Sorry! It kind of sucks, I've got friends who I wish could see this place and see what we do, but it's just too big of an ordeal to get people up here. Even if you did get permission to come up as a volunteer or something, you have to go through a day long north slope training course. So, too bad about that. What else are you guys doing in Alaska? I may be in Fairbanks for a few days at the end of July. I remember Kenket from TLK muck...not sure if I knew you. I was Shatzi/Minerva/Serfie/Wamase if Nyuni didn't tell you. Wow, that was a long time ago. :)
We're not sure how long we'll be up that way; plan to head north after Anthrocon and figure things out from there. There will be some Fairbanksness in the itinerary, and if we manage to land there the same time you're around, we should do kawfee. Kenket remembers you from the muck; I was Mbaamwezi and a few very forgettable other characters, and some of your names look familiar but I can't say whether we ever RPed or chatted. And yeah...that was FOREVER ago, in another lifetime it seems. :>
