WOW. awesome beginning of a story. love the dialogue and interacion between bill and saul. i think it's very much in character. :D

loved saul's line: “So,” Saul said, pouring a salutary amount of ambrosia in Bill’s glass, “… you frakking her yet?” LOL. it kinda threw me, and i had to read it twice to make sure that that was what he had really said. hehehe. way to go saul! XD

can't wait for the next part! :)

Wonderful to hear that you felt they were in character. Hee, the beauty of using Saul here is that he can say anything to Bill as they've known eachother for so long.

I started by skimming, but then you totally hooked me by how intelligent this was.
I'm totally in love with Saul and I've been disappointed that hardly anyone truly captures his character (at least to my satisfaction) but this is by far, the best Saul I have ever read. I bow to you. *bows*

I loved that scene from Crossroads when Bill helps Saul back to bed; this season has missed their friendship.
