So I'll take a quick second to let anyone who cares know that yes, I'm still alive. Here's my life in a nutshell: Graduated in May, relaxed, job hunted, got a job, started a month ago. Been traveling basically 2.5 out of the last 4 weeks and working from home the rest of the time ( Read more... )

congrats on your first post-college job! i miss you, but i'm going to be in the bay area for a few weeks (i'm coming in this weekend), so we should have a big 'ol shindig. say hi to hammie! (and josh)

Hi!! Thanks! I miss you too. Hows the big city life? We should totally hang out. You need to join one of Maria and my Wednesday Night Grub and a Movie nights. I just made that name up. But, assuming I'm around the next few Wednesdays, we should chill. And have a big ol' shindig too, of course. I'll give Hammie a scratch from you. And one for Josh too. ;)

I'll try to end here at 4:30 and be ready at 5 but I may be a tiny bit late if I get caught on the phone with a customer or something. But I'll call you if I run into trouble.

great to see a post again from you, and it's nice to know that you are still alive, and seemingly doing really well. Do you like what you are doing so far?
and as long as you pop-in on LJ once in awhile, I think that is all good :)

I totally pop in on LJ. You, of all people, should know I'm alive since I give you crap in your journal all the time!! ;)

So far, it's a lot of work in an industry I dont really know much about and am trying to learn. But it's good...a bit more travel than I wanted but that should die down. The people are pretty nice and and perks are decent so maybe it'll balance out in the long run.

Miss you!! Say hi to Aiden for me even though I'm no Auntie Ria or anything!

You are definitely on the list. We have a pretty poor track record...you're right. And you're also right that it isnt for lack of trying. Unfortunately, our weeks are busy with work and travel (for me) and our weekends are busy too. So we just need to keep trying...we'll eventually succeed because Josh and I both really want to hang out.
