The dance fitness studio that I loved so much went out of business this week. The recession has no mercy. That place was amazing. There aren't any other places close to me that offer zumba. It's back to the boring gym. Oh, and I picked up the 30 day shred to add some variety. Bummer for real.

Heeeey
I hopped back on the scale. Wii Fit has always told me (in that annoying kid voice) that I am overweight. Today was the first day I came in as "normal." My BMI is finally under 25. Currently 172.4lbs. Almost in the 160s, which is my goal for this challenge. My leg was bothering me, and I had to take a week off. It's all good now, and I'm happy to ( Read more... ) -

I haven't done a weigh-in for quite a while, so here goes. I'm currently 174.8lbs. I took a break from dancing to switch up my routine, but I'm back. The dance studio added more classes. Masala Bhangra was awesome, and I will always love Zumba, My body is still adjusting, but I love it. Feels good. :)

As promised, I did not check my weight today. I'm going to wait until the goal date I set on my Wii Fit game...June 14th! We'll see where I am then. I've only been counting the weight I lost since joining the sisterhood, but all together I'm down 20. :) So...I'm putting up that #20 button. Extra motivation for me~ Oh and I'm not weighing myself for two weeks. Maybe longer. I'm not trying to get attached to the scale. I'm still taking part in the 21 days challenge!

When I look in the mirror I love my:
Hair! I stopped chemically straightening my hair fall of '07. It was so badly damaged. I got it cut into that Rihanna asymmetrical thing that was cool back then. I've snipped all of the straightened ends, and I have an ever growing fluff of kinky-curly hair. I love it so much.

I really need to listen to myself when I try something new. My brother bought me a small smoothie twenty ounces is the small wtf? I was thinking to myself....It's a "trim down" smoothie, but it taste like straight sugar. Went home and checked the nutri facts online....73g of sugar. Holy Hannah. So I basically drank a 20oz soda. So!
I decided to go shopping for some new work clothes and NY and Co. The entire store was 50% off and my brother's girlfriend gave me a $30 of $75 coupon. I hauled my ass off in that store. I bought two cute dresses in a freaking size medium, and two pairs of pants in a size 8! I'm a 10 everywhere else, but whatever. I'll savor my size 8 trousers. All ( Read more... )
