It's National Novel Writing Month - and I've been sucked in by my sister, who is much more talented, dedicated and polished than me. She's wonderful, I say! :-D I've dived in with no plan, half a character, and most definitely no plot. For 1000 words yesterday, I described. There was no action, none at all. Travelling
I've got something within me that itches to write about the impossible, inspiring experience that is travel, but my fingers are slow on the keys. It's amazing, isn't it? The world. Infinite and yet so breath-takingly familiar, in every little frown or laugh on so many billions of faces.

I've discovered that I am too reflective to be a successful fundraiser. Faced with a ceaseless stream of people, a busy street, markets or rainstorms, I tend to watch rather than engage. People are fascinating! I'm just not good at talking to them ( Read more... ) -
Leave of Absence
I'm heading off into the real world for the next five weeks, travelling fairly randomly across the UK. ^^ Internet access will be sporadic, so no gorgeous fanfic... But oh well. Charity fundraising can't be that bad. :P
