I went to a new therapist tonight and she ROCKS! She's funny, smart, and has been clean 11 years. I completed several diagnostic tools in her office and we discussed the results along with her therapeutic plan for me. That is so great to hear, Ruth! I remember when I found my therapist, it was like, "What the hell was I wasting my time on with those othere therapists??"

I'm so glad she seems to "get" you, and that she was so right-on, right off the bat. Yay!

That's great, Ruthie! It reminds me of Sam's favorite quote - "The only constant is change." As I look back over the last few years of my life, I realize that is totally true. And I think that #2 is pretty true, too - you can't fight it - just have to learn to roll with it. Hope you have fun in SF!
