I didn't mean for it to sound like I don't appreciate Scott's help. I truly do. He's taking lost time to be at home to help me out, and he's done a great job. He's been wonderful, and I am lucky to have him.

He just irked me is all. But now he's out getting me Starbucks. :) The good outweighs the irksome. I love me some Scott.

Well, the ol' gallbladder is no more. I had surgery on Thursday morning, and was home by lunchtime Friday. I'm feeling pretty good. I have four little incisions in my abdomen: one halfway between my navel and my boobs, one just under my navel, one about 5 inches to the left of my navel, and one about 4 inches above that one. Okay, I'm so much older than 25, and I'm not sure a lot of this would be true for a 25 year old. Nonetheless, this is funny. My gallbladder surgery is set for February 2nd. The surgeon actually said that I should go a week to two weeks without lifting anything heavier than 10 lbs. Now I'm sorry, but that is impossible. My son weighs at least 15 lbs., and Scott cannot stay home for 2 weeks! It will be all we can manage for him to stay home for one. And there really ( Read more... )

Tonight, Sam kept bursting into tears, just wailing at the top of his lungs. I was trying and trying to figure out what was wrong with him. Hungry? No. Dirty diaper? No. Fever? No. Teething? Maybe, but Orajel didn't do anything, and he couldn't care less about the teething ring ( Read more... )

I've gone two weeks straight going to the gym religiously. This is usually when I start to waver, so I must be vigilant about going. Yesterday was my rest day. Well, my Christmas was pretty nice. I ate so much sugar yesterday, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling extra nauseous. But all of the cookies are gone now, and there's just one piece left of the rum cake my sister sent home with me. Scott went grocery shopping this evening, and now we have nice healthy stuff to eat.
