It's been over five months since I last posted, and looking back, so much  has happened in that time span. The rest of the Conference Services experience, being home for a couple of weeks, peer mentor training and orientation, my entire first semester of sophomore year... it all kind of merges together into a blur.

The last soccer game for the Rice Cakes was... eh. It was a team of mostly guys already on the soccer team here, so of course they were playing intensely and sicing everything to the next level. We lost, but we held our own. Still lots of love for my team. =)

Well... what a night it has certainly been... the BSU Soul Food dinner, fashion show practice, an intense but fun soccer game against the PhiKaps, and finally renewing my FAFSA... After that last post, the days around here just went a little crazy! Well, Tuesday was fairly uneventful, but it did start to snow, as promised. Dr. Ursin let out class early, so that was cool, and there was still choir, which is always a good time. Like always, the week has gone by slowly, with not much action here. Makes me only want to get back to campus sooner. The highlight of my week, though, was definitely going to the mall on Wednesday. The weekend actually turned out alright, considering how boring my winter break has been so far. Claire, from McDaniel, spent a day over at my house, since she came to the east coast (from Portland) through Dulles, and needed a place to stay before heading to Cameroon for her JanTerm.
