So, people, now that we know the release date of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, it's time for a poll:

Heh, I'm just going to read it at my normal speed. I know that if I said I'd read one chapter a day, I'd start to cheat aver a while from over eagerness.

I'd be involved in discussion, but A chapter a day is just too slow... the five chapters is a bit more manageable, I just don't think I could stop myself from jumping ahead... especaially as I got close to the end :D

Agreed. I think unless it was like 15-chapter-a-day, I would in no way be able to resist.

I TRY to make myself savor it and not read it all in one go, and I think I will especially try with this book, as it is the last, but....yeah. That means it will probably take me two or three days. x)

Mm. About discussing-chapters-as-you-read kind of deal...like everyone else has said, I'd probably cheat and start reading ahead. Personally, I just stay away from the internet when Harry Potter books come out, because I am very paranoid of seeing some spoilers. And spoilers for this book, again because it's the last, would SUCK. So. Yeah. Basically when Harry Potter books come out, I shut myself off from the world, just so I can read and absorb. And then in the end, when it all has settled in my brain, I'll start calling my friends and discussing and whatnot.

While I, myself, wouldn't participate in the community, it sounds like a pretty spiffing idea. :)
