On reading: I read Book 6 in a span of a week because my term already started so I had to balance it with school and stuff. I think the same thing will happen this time. And of course I'll take my time because it's like the effing last book. :(

I still wanted it to be released July 7, 2007 (07/07/07) for Book 7. But oh well. At least it's 2 weeks after my ideal date.

I know exactly what I'll do: pretend I'm going to read it over a period of a few days, then become anti-social and just read the whole thing in a day, occasionally appearing online to hit you or something. XD

So, pretty much the seventh book > the fifth movie will ever be.

I'm a very fast reader, but not fast enough to knock over a book in two-three hours. I will more than likely read the book over the weekend of the 21st-22nd. Ideally I'd like to take my time with it, read a chapter or two every night, really savour it because it's the VERY LAST ONE (sob!).

However, I'm paranoid about spoilers. I hate knowing how something is going to work out because then the clues because obvious and I don't feel clever for working them out myself. This book will be all over the news (tv and online) and maybe even in the paper (one of my friends had HBP ruined for her like that) so I'd prefer to read it over the two days so I avoid any risks. ^.^

Would you participate in a community where you read one chapter of DH per day and discuss? No.

I'm involved with deathly_cntdwn at the moment, which is exactly that. We've just finished PS and I'm about to go downstairs and read the first chapter of COS so I can post my notes. It's the first time I've really become
