I would like DLXIV drams of Armenian BBQ, good sir. What is the going rate?

Maybe they just want to make sure you can do basic dimensional analysis, and drams are a convenient non-metric measure with historical ties to medicine for flavor? At least, I really hope no one actually needs to use drams.

thank you for making me look it up..

it depends on which system you are going for...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avoirdupois

in this it is 1/16 of an ounce.

in the apothcary it is 1/8 of an ounce.... and one dram is equal to three scruples..

no wonder we have tried to kill this measuring system.

i'd personally say 1-3 grams/to flavor... flav.. should work.

No one uses apothecary system anymore, however I did have to learn it in nursing school JUST IN CASE.

Everything is metric or mEq or standard units. Only gm, mg, mcg, mEq, or units. There might be some backwater clinic somewhere that still uses the older system.

you just made my week much better

I read your posts from time to time while you were going through nursing school, how did you like it overall? And what sort of degree did you do? associates, bachelors, or masters?
