Our buckwheat is very small, probably because it is growing in the crappiest soil we have. And we have pretty crappy soil even in the best of places. I have buckwheat envy, our friends' down the street has grown nearly twice as big in half the time. Drove down to the pine barrens with Sharon yesterday. It was pretty awesome, but the weather today kinda sucked. The weather people totally lied about this weekend being totally without rain. The garlic has sprouted, some of our tomatoes are sprouting too! The kiwi plants aren't doing too bad, and the potatoes are in the ground, and the ground isn't frozen. I was excited because I finally found a copy of Boom-O! somewhere online for less than 60 dollars. It seems to have dropped to a slightly more reasonable 20 dollars. Still ridiculous for a game that used to cost 20 dollars, but I guess since it went out of print and everyone knows how awesome it is the price went up ( Read more... )
