Yikes, it's been a while since I've posted. Life has been pretty crazy the last month or so; a little over three weeks ago, I started to feel a bit feverish one night, and that turned into a two week high fever and tonsil infection. The doctors didn't know what I had, then guessed that it was a bacterial infection, then they thought I had red ( Read more... )

But when do you get in on the 4th? Could we do dinner or something?

Yay! It was fun to read your updated journal (I still check it, even if you don't post often!:)) That is funny that none of us are big meat eaters (me being the only one that does eat meat). I think my main reasons are that I don't like cooking with it too much, it is kinda expensive, and livestock plays a big part in methane production/global warming/rainforest destruction, etc. Also, I love vegetarian dishes, and usually crave veggies/rice/beans more than I crave meat. I'm super picky about meat too. Lots of meat I think is gross, and I can't think of a veggie I don't like. But in the end, I don't think I'll ever go completely vegetarian. On another note, it was fun that you got to see Dr. Tina! We need to have a reunion. The other day I was remembering how we all tried to write out the entire script from A Hard Day's Night, intending to recreate the movie starring ourselves! How ridiculous. The thought made me laugh. Anyway, sorry to hear you got so sick, but good to hear from you!

I think those are all good reasons for not eating much meat! I don't think I could just cut back (because I really do like meat dishes), but I had to go cold turkey. Haha. Tina actually said she eats meat sometimes too, so she calls herself a 'flexitarian.'

I would LOVE a reunion. And I wish we could have/still could make a recreation of a Hard Day's Night. I think it would be the best thing ever!

I miss you mucho!

I didn't know Tina was a vegetarian...or flexitarian. Good job Tiba! I think Ashley is a flexitarian too. Actually, I don't really know what flexitarian technically is. haha.

That is hilarious that your cousin couldn't come to her own wedding shower. You should have put her on a webcam! But that's cute that you made a website.

So...I'm kind of slow and just realized that a "postcard" was a comment. A reunion would be amazing (but that would mean I need to find that beige suit so I could dress up like John Lennon again). Who has the picture btw?
