Cat and cats and MORE cats!

On Sunday, my mom, sisters, and I volunteered at the Anti-Cruelty Society of Chicago, to help with a massive spay/neuter program. More than half of the cats were feral, and brought in as part of a spay/neuter and release program. The other cats were strays, or owned by individuals who couldn't afford to spay/neuter their cats.

A-MEN to that!

When my mum adopted two kitties last year, I went with her and the girls and she had to stop me rounding up all the kitties to take them home with me. Our cats are adopted too and they're such a joy. If we had more space I'd fill the house up with moggies. Rock on crazy-cat-lady-ness!!!

What a nice way to spend your day--doing service! I'm glad you had fun. I think I would have had lots of fun too, but the temptation to bring someone home just might have been too much!

Oh, it was veeeery tempting. If I didn't already have the bunnies it would have been even harder!

My friend got a kitten at that place. The people were really nice. I may have fooled her into going say, "Oh, you don't have to get a cat, we'll just look." And wouldn't you know it? She came home with a cat and loves it.
